Privacy policy

Aliens or Not does not ask for an account, your email or your name.

What you do here. The quiz and the calculator run in your browser; your answers aren't sent to us.

Preferences. Your theme and page-width choices are stored in your browser.

Video thumbnails. Video previews are images loaded from YouTube (Google), which receives standard request data such as your IP address. Videos open on YouTube only when you click.

Advertising. We show ads from Google AdSense, which may use cookies to personalise ads. You can manage this at Google ad settings.

Analytics and cookies. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It uses cookies and receives the page address, the site you came from, your approximate location, device and browser. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked first: analytics and ad cookies stay off until you agree, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link on the page.

Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
